Gavin Gallaher's Mission to 'Contribute’ Pays Off with Gold Glove

In 2024, Gavin Gallaher started all 61 games for North Carolina at third base. This season, the Tar Heel captain started all 66 games (and counting) at second. After undergoing a position change this past offseason from the hot corner to second, Gallaher was awarded a Rawlings Gold Glove by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Thursday.
