I was born in the fall of 1998, so I missed a lot of Pat Summitt’s legendary coaching career by virtue of not being alive yet. It’s something I often wonder about as the Lady Volunteers writer now for Knox News. What would it have been like if I had been born three decades earlier and gotten to cover the height of Summitt’s Tennessee basketball dynasty?
