Former Tar Heel Soccer Standout Sebastian Berhalter nets first career World Cup goal


In that loss to Turkey, the USMNT played most of their backups as they opted to rest the starters. But one of those backups is a key substitute who is one of the first to come off the bench for the team. Sebastian Berhalter has carved out a role for himself in his first World Cup. On Thursday, the former Tar Heel standout scored his first career World Cup goal. (USA Today)
