49. Julius Peppers, DE, North Carolina: A two-sport athlete for the Tar Heels, Peppers dominated on the football field. In 2000, he led the nation with 15 sacks and set a UNC record with 24 tackles for loss. The following year, he won the Lombardi Award as best lineman in the country and Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in college football.
