2025 ACC Midfielder of the Year Kate Galica Transfers from Virginia to Carolina Women's Lacrosse


Kate Galica arrives in Chapel Hill as one of the most accomplished midfielders in the country. The rising senior was the 2025 ACC Midfielder of the Year at Virginia, becoming the first Cav in program history to win the honor. She was also a 2025 IWLCA First Team All-American, a Nike Lacrosse First Team All-American, and a USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American. (Heels on Franklin)
