RJ Davis scores 15 in NBA Summer League opener

R.J. Davis was the first Tar Heel to play in this year’s NBA Summer League and nearly won the game with a late shot. Davis’ shot bounded off the rim as the San Antonio Spurs lost 88-87 to the Miami Heat at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The former UNC All-American was a team-high +16, coming off the bench to score 15 points in 18 minutes.
