Marcus Spears Jr., the No. 1 basketball recruit in the 2027 class, has committed to Texas and is reclassifying to join the Longhorns next season. The 6-foot-9 5-star power forward from Dallas (TX) Dynamic Prep picked Texas over Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, and others. Due to Spears' age, he will have two seasons to play before becoming NBA Draft eligible. (247 Sports)
