Reggie Bullock scores 22 in victory over Greensboro Dudley
Posted Mar 8, 2009
For the third straight season, the two perennial state powerhouses found themselves matched up in the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 3-A East Regional, and for the third straight time and the fourth time in the past seven years it was the Vikings who prevailed, winning 67-64 in a semifinal Friday night at East Carolina University's Minges Coliseum.
Kinston junior Reggie Bullock scored 22 of his 28 points in the final two quarters -- including a backdoor layup with 31 seconds left that gave the Vikings their final lead and a layup on a loose ball with eight ticks remaining that provided the final margin.
