Reggie Bullock scores 22 in victory over Greensboro Dudley

For the third straight season, the two perennial state powerhouses found themselves matched up in the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 3-A East Regional, and for the third straight time and the fourth time in the past seven years it was the Vikings who prevailed, winning 67-64 in a semifinal Friday night at East Carolina University's Minges Coliseum.

Kinston junior scored 22 of his 28 points in the final two quarters -- including a backdoor layup with 31 seconds left that gave the Vikings their final lead and a layup on a loose ball with eight ticks remaining that provided the final margin. (Greensboro News & Record)
