UNC Alumni Contribute $30.1 Billion to State’s Economy

In every corner of North Carolina, Tar Heels are leaving a large financial footprint. Alumni contributed a minimum of $30.1 billion in economic activity across the state in 2025, according to data released by the University. Alumni contributed $18.3 billion to the state’s gross domestic product and produced $1.1 billion in state and local tax revenue.
