Terp women hold off Tar Heels

In a game of runs, Maryland made the final one and held off North Carolina, 95-84, in the ACC Tournament semifinal game at Greensboro Coliseum. The third-seeded Tar Heels fought back from a first-half deficit, claiming a short-lived 63-61 lead with 14 minutes remaining, but the top-seeded Terrapins were too tough down the stretch and knocked off the four-time defending champions.
