UNC Basketball coach Michael Malone and assistant Chuck Martin have been busy on the recruiting trail this week, making the trip to the Adidas 3SSB event in Rock Hill, South Carolina to evaluate a handful of prospects. The Tar Heel coaching staff was courtside to watch Yann Kamagate and Darius Wabbington of Compton Magic.
Malone and Martin also got eyes on Jordan Page and the Garner Road program. The week paid immediate dividends — after watching class of 2027 4-star small forward Asa Montgomery, the staff liked what they saw enough to extend him a scholarship offer on Friday, per David Sisk and Andrew Jones of TarHeel247.
