Michigan PG L.J. Cason transferring to Miami basketball, will miss 2026-27 season

Michigan point guard L.J. Cason, who suffered a torn right ACL in February, will transfer to Miami and miss the 2026-27 season. Cason, the No. 56-ranked player in the transfer portal according to 247Sports, was a key reserve for the Wolverines during their national championship season as he averaged 8.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 28 games.
