UNC defensive end Melkart Abou Jaoude entered the offseason focused on improving his conditioning. He admitted that last season he sometimes struggled with exhaustion late in games. "Sometimes last year I might've been tired, but I don't want any of that this season, no excuses. Every snap, I want to be flying off the ball and I want you guys to see it." (TarHeel247)
