Ten Tar Heels To Compete At Women's Lacrosse World Championship

North Carolina Women's Lacrosse will be well represented at the 2026 World Championship in Tokyo. Carolina has 10 Tar Heels in the tournament representing five countries. Pool play opens Friday. Current UNC assistant coach Marie McCool is aiming for her third world championship in senior field lacrosse after earning medals in 2017 and 2022. (GoHeels.com)
