Determined effort adds to seniors' legacy

There was something tedious about the way North Carolina’s seniors climbed up the ladder beneath the basket Sunday evening, taking turns with a pair of scissors and clipping down pieces of the net. The Tar Heels’ 28th ACC regular season title was theirs and theirs alone thanks to a 79-71 defeat of rival Duke at the Smith Center. It was a feel-good moment, sure. But it was also somewhat flat. Boring, even. (Fayetteville Observer)
