The case for No. 1 in this class was an intriguing one. Being this was the debut of the 2028 recruiting cycle’s rankings, there was no set precedent. Every player had a clean slate, and multiple players were in the conversation. While Draydne McDaniel was also mentioned, the conversation for No. 1 in this ranking was between two players: JJ Crawford and RJ Evans. (On3.com)
