What to Know About UNC’s Proposed LLC and Associated Entity

UNC is taking another step toward creating an entity designed to give its athletic department more flexibility to generate revenue and commercialize its assets. Athletics Director Steve Newmark presented details of the proposed entity, which would be structured as an LLC and classified as an Associated Entity, on Tuesday at a UNC Board of Trustees Meeting.
