Tar Heels in the NFL: Sam Howell makes case to be Dallas Cowboys backup QB

Sam Howell threw a long touchdown pass for the Dallas Cowboys to highlight the performances of former UNC players on the first weekend of NFL preseason games. Howell started for the Cowboys in their 17-7 win over Seattle and made his case to be the backup quarterback. "It’s fun. Any time you get to go out there and play football, it’s fun."
