Billy Edwards Jr. Named UNC Starting Quarterback

A winner has emerged from UNC's quarterback competition, as Wisconsin transfer Billy Edwards Jr. has been named UNC’s starting quarterback to open the season. The sixth-year QB enters the season opener against TCU having won the competition over Texas A&M transfer Miles O'Neill, redshirt freshman Au'Tori Newkirk, and true freshman Travis Burgess.
