UNC Football's nearly five-month-long quarterback competition concluded Tuesday when the Tar Heels informed Billy Edwards Jr. that he won the starting job. The competition, primarily between Edwards and Texas A&M transfer Miles O'Neill, was "neck-and-neck" throughout training camp. But in the end, Edwards' steadiness and leadership won out.
