Vic Molodet, who led NC State basketball to its first ACC title, died at age 93

Seventy years separate N.C. State’s first ACC men’s basketball championship and its most recent. One player responsible for the program’s first title died earlier this month, the school announced. “Sending condolences to his family, friends and the entire Wolfpack family,” the program’s announcement stated. Vic Molodet died on Aug. 14 at age 93 in Greensboro. (MSN.com)
