UNC Women's Soccer may have played thousands of miles away against a professional team, but the friendly with Shelbourne FC felt like a home match. Carolina took control with a dominant first half in a 3-0 victory Friday (Highlights), not allowing a shot on goal until the second half. The crowd of 1,867 was the largest for a women’s game in stadium history. (Tar Heel Tribune)
