Former UNC Golfer Ryan Gerard Finishes Third In FedEx Cup Race

It was a great weekend to be a Tar Heel. UNC Football opened with a 15-10 victory over TCU in Ireland. A couple of thousand miles away in Atlanta, Ryan Gerard finished third at the season-ending PGA Tour Championship. He finished four strokes behind the winner, Scottie Scheffler, with a 12-under par, 268. Gerard pocketed $3,705,000 for his efforts. (TarHeel247)
