Carson Bertagnole is one shot off the lead after rounds of 66 and 69 to lead the North Carolina men's golf team to a 3-under-par first day of the 2026-27 men's golf season Monday in the Visit Knoxville Collegiate at Fox Den Country Club in Farragut, Tennessee. The Tar Heels shot 2-under par 278 in the morning round and 1-under 279 in the afternoon. (GoHeels.com)
