North Carolina Football general manager Michael Lombardi resigned on Thursday after a tumultuous tenure in Chapel Hill working alongside head coach Bill Belichick. But the investigation is still ongoing and lawyers hired by the university are now focused on behaviors by defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, people familiar with the investigation report.
