Few players have left as enduring a mark on UNC Football as running back Don McCauley. McCauley arrived in Chapel Hill in 1967. Before he left, he won two straight ACC Player of the Year awards and earned consensus All-America honors as a senior in 1970. Former UNC trustee Rusty Carter, a classmate of McCauley’s, remembers his greatness. (Chapelboro.com)
