UNC Cross Country Sweeps Virginia Invitational To Open Season, Ciara O'Shea Claims Individual Win


The North Carolina cross country program opened the season in dominant fashion with both the women's and men's teams securing a first-place finish at the Virginia Invitational on Friday. Joe Barrett claim the highest spot for Carolina at second with a 6k time of 17:44. Ciara O'Shea claimed an individual win with a personal best time of 16:46 in the 5k. (GoHeels.com)
