Payton Jones, the No. 37 overall recruit in the 2027 class, has committed to Maryland on the CBS Sports College Basketball Channel. A 6-foot-2 combo guard out of Beaumont (Texas) High who will finish his high school career at Dynamic Prep in Dallas, Jones chose the Terrapins from a final four that also included Cincinnati, Clemson, and Oklahoma State.
