Running Back Demon June Carving Out Role in Crowded Backfield

Demon June joined elite company Saturday. The sophomore found the end zone three times in North Carolina’s win over East Tennessee State, becoming the first Tar Heel running back to do so since Omarion Hampton against James Madison in 2024. It also marked the first multi-touchdown performance of the Jacksonville, N.C. native’s college career.
