Following the prolonged weather delay in Death Valley, a sluggish North Carolina was outgained 111-36 over that final 7:53, allowing Clemson to match its offensive touchdown total from its first two games while North Carolina’s own offense stalled to seal a 28-20 defeat. “I don’t think we had enough energy,” linebacker Derek McDonald said after the loss.
