Atlanta Hawks rookie Henri Veesaar expected to miss season with torn ACL

Atlanta Hawks rookie Henri Veesaar is expected to miss the 2026-27 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee. Veesaar suffered the injury during a workout on Sept. 15 and will undergo surgery in October. The 7-foot center was drafted by the LA Clippers and traded to Atlanta. He averaged 17 points and 8.7 rebounds his senior season at UNC. (ESPN)
