Three UNC field hockey stars ruled eligible by court to play this weekend in Bay Area

After a Wednesday court ruling, Sietske Brüning, Ryleigh Heck, and Dani Mendez will play in UNC's field hockey games this weekend. Wednesday’s ruling came from Monroe County Circuit Court Judge Kara Krothe in Indiana, who granted an injunction restoring a fifth season of eligibility to Brüning, Heck and Mendez, along with UNC kicker Rece Verhoff.
