Deon Thompson buoyed by small body of work
Posted Apr 4, 2008
Deon Thompson knows he has had the luxury of developing without having to be a key guy, but he also knows those two years are coming to an end. There will have to come a transitional time for him if he is to elevate his game beyond prodigy. That time doesn't have to be in this NCAA Tournament, but it wouldn't hurt if it showed up the way it has thus far. If it did, the Tar Heels will remain extremely difficult to beat.
