With college accolades under his belt, UNC swimmer Xavier Ruiz setting sights on Olympics


Whether in a river during the pandemic, practice at Koury Natatorium, or competing for a gold medal for his home of Puerto Rico, nothing changes for Xavier Ruiz as he enters the water: he knows what he is capable of and how he will achieve it. Since arriving at UNC two years ago, Xavier Ruiz has shown no signs of striving for anything but greatness. (Daily Tar Heel)
