Lucas: North Carolina vs. USC Rapid Reactions

Posted Oct 9, 2026
UNC gets a very encouraging 88-70 win over Southern Cal to open the exhibition season. A clue that this team will be fun to watch: Matt Able and Terrence Brown, who will be two of the Tar Heels' most important players, were scoreless for the first 32 minutes and had six combined turnovers. But Carolina still built a 61-53 lead during that span. (GoHeels.com)
