"Car-olina refs." ABCers (Anybody But Carolina) have been screaming it for decades. Charlie Scott got all the calls, Michael Jordan never walked, Tyler Hansbrough drew two fouls in the locker room getting dressed. And the whines will get more plaintive after whistles helped decide North Carolina's 79-76 escape against Virginia Tech on Friday in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.
