Late fouls end UNC's hopes of 3rd straight ACC crown

Florida State brought North Carolina's two-season reign as ACC Tournament champion to an end yesterday afternoon by coming back in a tight, tense finish at the Georgia Dome for a 73-70 semifinal win. The Seminoles wiped out the Tar Heels' 70-69 lead with four free throws in the final 47.2 seconds to reach their first ACC Tournament championship game today.
