What Three Basketball Preseason Exhibitions Revealed About the Tar Heels

Posted Oct 28, 2026
Perhaps the most concerning trend throughout exhibition play has been North Carolina’s inconsistency on the glass. The Tar Heels outrebounded USC 47-33 but fell behind Indiana 53-31 before losing the rebounding battle to Charlotte 36-30. Indiana grabbed 20 offensive rebounds and scored 17 second-chance points, while Charlotte added 18 more. (Tar Heel Blue)
