Brandon Tate limited in workout for scouts
Posted Mar 18, 2009
Receiver Brooks Foster ran the 40-yard dash at North Carolina's on-campus workout for NFL scouts on Tuesday. Receiver Hakeem Nicks ran routes and caught passes. Brandon Tate, a third UNC receiver hoping to be selected in next month's NFL Draft, couldn't do either. Tate is still rehabilitating his right knee. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear against Notre Dame on Oct. 11 and missed the final seven games.
