Tyler Hansbrough sets ACC career scoring record

The ACC has a new career scoring leader. Tyler Hansbrough reached 2,770 points on the first of two free throws with 15 minutes, 43 seconds remaining Thursday afternoon in the first half of a first-round NCAA Tournament game against Radford at the Greensboro Coliseum. Radford forward Phillip Martin committed the foul that sent Hansbrough to the free throw line. Hansbrough stepped to the line at 3:12 p.m. and hit two free throws.
