Ed Davis made his presence known early in Chapel Hill, posting a double-double of 10 points and 14 rebounds in his first career game at UNC. Fortunately for Roy Williams and the Tar Heels fan base, the lanky freshman has continued to develop and is now a key element in Carolina’s national title hopes. Standing 6-foot-10 and listed at an improbable 215 pounds, Davis has provided a defensive presence.
