LSU Tiger-Tar Heel Ties: You’ve got to go back in time to find them. The teams haven’t met since Dec. 19, 1996, when UNC beat the Tigers in Greensboro. Johnson was an assistant at Stanford, which, like UNC, fell in the semifinals. (ACC Sports Journal)
