Heels' 'Easy Ed' emerging at right time
Posted Mar 21, 2009
With his athletic blocks, nimble rebounds and quick left-handed hook shots, UNC forward Ed Davis often shows his innate sense of timing. Which might explain why all the facets of the freshman's game appear to be coming together when the Tar Heels need him the most. Over his past three games the 6-foot-10 reserve has averaged 10.3 points and 21.3 minutes, up from his 6.3 points and 18.6 minutes during the regular season.
