UNC recruits compete at state strength meet

Two local athletes won their divisions at the Strength Coaches Association state meet on Saturday at White Knoll High School.
Byrnes’ Brandon Willis won at 260 pounds, and Chapman’s Charles Wilkins won at 235. Byrnes’ Corey Miller (235) and Tony Hillman (150) each finished second.
Miller had the top performance in his class in the 40-yard dash, finishing in 4.8 seconds. Willis was tops in his class in the 40-yard dash (4.79) and the standing long jump (8 feet, 2 inches).
