Hurricane warnings in North Carolina
Posted Mar 24, 2009
Butch Davis was the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes in 2000 when they lined up Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss and Andre Johnson on the flank. All became first-round draft picks and all became Pro Bowlers. Now Davis is the head coach at North Carolina and has another set of Triplets that is drawing NFL attention: Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Tate and Brooks Foster. "Andre Johnson was a freak," Davis said. "Individually, you'd take Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne and Santana Moss over these guys. But as a trio, this (North Carolina) group is pretty darn good. Collectively, they're not far off that Miami bunch."
