Five football programs on the rise in 2009

5. North Carolina: Rivals.com and Scout.com each had North Carolina's most recent recruiting classes in their top 10 rankings. That's no surprise. Butch Davis can recruit with anyone. T.J. Yates is back and should be the starting quarterback. Leading rusher Shaun Draughn also returns. Don't forget -- North Carolina beat six bowl teams in 2008. Davis and the Tar Heels are close to a breakthrough season.
