2009 All-Tidewater Boys Basketball - Part II

Last but definitely not least is Norfolk Christian sophomore James McAdoo. I almost put him on second team because he’s only a sophomore but I can’t penalize him for that. He is very deserving of the first team. He averaged 25 points and 11 rebounds and was a force each time he stepped on the court.
I remember sitting next to North Carolina coach Roy Williams when the Ambassadors played Norfolk Collegiate in a huge late-season match-up. Each time McAdoo did something spectacular – which was often – Williams watched intensely, sometimes shaking his head in disbelief.
