Hansbrough stands tall as Heels move on

Posted Mar 28, 2009
Tyler Hansbrough shut the door on any dark alternative in the second half, when he scored 15 of his 24 points, and the Tar Heels blitzed Gonzaga 98-77. They marched into the South Regional final Sunday at 5:05 p.m. against Oklahoma, which dispatched Syracuse 84-71 in the first semifinal. That arranges a tidy showdown between the nation's most decorated players, Hansbrough and Blake Griffin. (Winston-Salem Journal)
