Gonzaga-UNC Final Notes
Posted Mar 28, 2009
UNC held Gonzaga center Josh Heytvelt without a rebound. Tyler Hansbrough finished with 24 points and 10 boards, but Heytvelt - who bettered Hansbrough two seasons ago with a 19-point, 10-rebound effort - finished with 14 points and no boards. Both of Gonzaga’s big men – Heytvelt and 6-foot-11 Austin Day – failed to grab an offensive rebounds. The Zags had just four on the night and only two by its starters.
