Had junior guard Wayne Ellington wanted to stay close to home, play in the Big East, be the obvious superstar on an up-and-coming team, he would have chosen Villanova. But he picked North Carolina because he wanted to play for a national championship. And now, thanks to his team's 83-69 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday night in the NCAA semifinals, that's exactly what he will do. (Raleigh News & Observer)
